Marian Schutz
Marian Schutz has been chasing light and capturing stories ever since she first picked up a camera as a young girl. This May, she will graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from California State University, Sacramento.
Marian is drawn to subjects that others might overlook, finding beauty and meaning in places such as historic cemeteries, and capturing the quiet stories held within their stones. She also enjoys working in product photography, creating clean, compelling images that highlight design and detail. In addition to her fine art projects, Marian is passionate about travel photography, with Italy, Ireland, and England standing out as favorite landscapes for her lens. She approaches every photograph with curiosity, heart, and a deep appreciation for the story’s images can preserve.
